Hello, I'm Linda Danielzik. Welcome to my website! I was bitten by the
quilting bug around 1970 on a visit to I make traditional,
paper-pieced, fused appliqué and stained-glass quilts. I rotary-cut and
machine piece my quilts, except for the stained glass - which is done totally
by hand. I would like to hand quilt all my quilts,
however most of them are machine quilted either by me or Rose Momsen of Some of my quilts are the result of testing a pattern, fabric or technique for some of my classes. Some of them are made from "orphan" blocks from other quilts and some are actually planned, and then again changed in the middle or even after they're made. After living in the Besides having enough fabric to last 100 years, I have an extensive collection of books, magazines and patterns. Other activities that I enjoy are: tatting, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, making cloth, gardening, cooking and baking, swimming and walking my little dachshund Maple. I hope you'll like the quilts you see my Galleries and the Student Galleries - Click on the pictures for a better view. Lots of projects are in progress and will be added whenever they are completed. The Student Gallery will be updated periodically. If you have any comments or questions, or are interested in my classes(click on pictures too), please send me an email or a fax. I'd love to hear from you. Your fellow quiltaholic, Linda |
